Bonjour!

I am Sandra, French expat, mum of 2 amazing boys and married to an awesome English man.

Early in my career, I have been fortunate to assist photographers in Europe to style amazing places such as Villas in Corsica for a travel agency or work in very cool places in Spain to help photograph beautiful furniture.

Forward a few years, my husband and I have since then bought our first house, revamped it, sold it and bought a new one which we have once again completely transformed.  We love planning spaces, DIY and Improving houses. We have redecorated our hall 3 times, the front room twice... you see me coming, we needed a new project which didn't involve redecorating our own house again 😂.

So here we are, launching On56west to highlight the journey we have been through for our own home improvement and also share any artists, businesses and beautiful decors that we came across and inspired us.

In my spare time I also like to take care of plants and create my children birthday cakes so I am adding this to the mix to share my tips, suppliers or again inspirations from amazing bakers.
